GHoteles was present at IMEX 2010 in Frankfurt

GHoteles and Hotel Las Aguilas, located in Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife, were present at this year’s IMEX, the essential exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events in Frankfurt. GHoteles was present at the stand of Islas Canarias, managed by Promotur, surrounded by other hotels, agents, DMC’s. It has been a great success, please have a look at same images below.

Hotel Las Aguilas located in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife and member of GHoteles, will participate in the next trade faire IMEX in Frankfort, Germany from the 25th to the 28th of May 2010.

This year, Hotel Las Aguilas will be part of the stand of CANARY ISLAND, Nº E-240

IMEX is the essential worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events. In 2009 3,500 exhibitors from 157 countries representing national and regional tourist offices, major hotel groups, airlines, destination management companies, service providers, trade associations and more.

With the opening of the new conference hall in October 2008, the Hotel Las Águilas, Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, provides the perfect conditions and environment to organize events, business meetings, family reunions, private parties, weddings, Christmas dinner, baptisms and communions.

The convention centre has 6 conference halls with modular walls that can be joined to form the big hall with a capacity of up to 550 people. Visiting La Gomera has never been easier

It has never been so easy to visit La Gomera, one of the most beautiful islands of the Canary Islands.

Departing from Los Cristianos in the south of Tenerife, Fred Olsen offers you a very easy and fast way to travel to the neighbour island in only 35 minutes (32 km). The ferries have up to 6 departures each day in both directions which is ideal for a weekend trip with your own car or for a spontaneous one day excursion.

You will arrive to the main harbour which is located in the capital of the island, San Sebastian de La Gomera. It is a very charming place with a long history reaching back to 1492 when Christopher Colombus departed from La Gomera in order to conquer the new world.

From the capital you can start many excursions with your own car, by bus or by boat. Fred Olsen offers you a public transport by boat reaching within only 20 minutes Playa Santiago and within 45 minutes Valle Gran Rey.

La Gomera is not only well known for its delicious food such as the typical cheese cream “Almogrote” but also for its stunning natural beauty and the Garajonay National Park. The park belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage since 1986 and is located in the centre of the island.

If you prefer to travel from the north of Tenerife, the local airline Binter Canarias takes you in a short flight from the Tenerife North Airport to La Gomera several times per day.

If you would like to spend some days in La Gomera you can enjoy the rural hotel Triana in the rural village of Vallehermoso. The Canarian villa is surrounded by nature and is ideal if you want to relax and enjoy the environment. From the hotel you have many walking paths taking you to the Garajonay National Park.
